Hi All,

I showed this off about a month ago but wasn't ready to part with it just yet. Now that I've enjoyed it for a bit, I'm ready to pass it along to a new owner

Please note that it has a different marble than was depicted before - I'd used one I had sitting around in order to get photos sent off in time for Corning's New Glass Review deadline. The marble included for sale with this now is a much happier one

these are some one piece butterfly/flower marbles from last week. i made a real effort to create flat realistic butterflies, all but the first one have segmented bodies. they all have antennae, and tooled wings. they are all signed, dated and numbered I-X. marbles #I-VI are approx. 1.4"-1.5" for $75, marbles #VII-X are approx 1.6"-1.7" for $85. if you have any questions, please email me at robmorrisonglass@comcast.net. comments and criticisms are always welcome....

Skull in a vortex

I've been experimenting with the fumed skull process and I don't think I got enough silver fume on this marble and created kind of an air trap instead. The vortex is also one of my favorite kinds of marble to make, so I tried combining the two and this is what happened. The vortex kind of looks like a galaxy behind the skull when viewed at certain angles. I like the looks of this, but it wasn't really what I was intending, I guess it's sort of a happy accident.

Had a chance to work a bit this past saturday, was pretty excited with these new ones. I've added some bees to the mushrooms and my most favorite is the Fumadore Flower. I"m kinda thinking of changing the name to Reef Blossoms, not quite sure yet, but I love everything about it. Hope you enjoy your day!
